Are these fairing original on 2009 V-Strom650 ??? Pls advice..

Does anyone know if these side fairings are original at the model from 2009 ?
Asking cos trying to buy V-Strom650 in good condition but I'm not sure if the one on picture was not damaged (accident). Seller says no Cat on it but the fairings don't look like Suzuki did on 2009 models.

Think the tank stickers are missing - similar model at this link, so you may be correct thinking it is damage repaired?

Some owners like to remove some or all stickers (I took off the daft helmet reminder stickers from the tank of my last strom, for example). could be as simple as that, there was a fad for it a few years ago. Also, fairings are often the first thing to crack when a bike is dropped, or even just 'laid down' with no insurance claim needed, and might have been replaced without stickers. Maybe if you can see the VIN number you can run a free check online with the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) as indicated here...

Also, if they have  been painted, the previous owner may have chosen not to pay the ridiculous price for the decals.

They look the same as my '11 plate, so should be the same for 04-12 I think.
