I'm heading for Germany at the end of April, will a 2016 Veek need the deflectors or is it a flat beam and be OK????

As far as I'm aware the headlights on our V-stoms are set centrally and therefore there is no need to make any adjustments etc. before going abroad.

I didn't tape my lights when I went over to Spain although some members have done.

I did tape them on my Glee, although I got flashed by a lorry on the one occasion I had to ride at dusk. I think that was more likely to be due to the weight on the rear (pillion and fully loaded). Next time I go back I won't bother as a part from the above I've never been flashed, and generally by the time it's dusk the bike is parked up for the night.

At the end of April it will be light at 5am and stay that way 'til 9pm anyway.  I wouldn't bother doing anything.

Test full / dip against a wall at night, see if dip goes left or not.

Its easier than that, there is no difference in the spec of European Stroms to their UK sisters

As mine is EU, I looked at the beam against the wall and it is not dipping on any side. So, it is uniform beam, straight line.
