What biking stuff did you get for Christmas?

LadyW got me THIS BOOK I saw recommended a few months ago (on here I think but I cannot find it in the search). Hopefully I will understand enough of it  :shy:

What I also need is some time and weather to ride the one I have got.

So, who got what?

That's a book to 'dip in to' , I bet, Martin! Otherwise brain-overload will set in :)

I got my first leather jacket in about 30 years (my old one unaccountably has shrunk in the wardrobe over the years :shrug:XMAS! HERE

Hopefully it'll be decent for shortish runs in warm weather.

Got a small model of a Triumph Explorer for some reason; and a hat with a built-in led light  ('for when you break down'  :violence-smack: )

Nothing!!  :bawl:  I was given cycling stuff instead  :icon_exclaim:  Perhaps my wife's subtle hint I've had too many mince pies??

Absolutely. 300 pages at 1 a day is 10 months. I would fry my brain trying to read it like a novel :)

A pair of Oxford Montreal 3 trousers. Tried them out yesterday (Black Mountain/A4069 etc)... a nice fit and very comfortable. With a bit of luck it'll be a long time before I have to test the waterproofness (if there's such a word :) )

Yes, a 2012 250L with only 4K miles. Unfortunately my local pikeys have clocked it and appear a little too interested for my liking so I am upping security.

I bought myself a Lindstrands Qattara Jacket in the discontinued section of Touratech.

My parents gave be £100 towards it, which the wife then put towards a new fire surround for the living room  :icon_exclaim:

Other than that nothing bike related as the mrs says I have everything I could possibly need for the bike.

She didn't get me the Africa Twin I had requested from Santa.  :bawl:

SWMBO also told me I was not allowed to wrap the new mudguard for the GSX for her.
Apparently it's not a present as I got it broken in the first place.

I have some of these and the jacket, very comfy and warm but they did leak when we went on the stroms lakes expedition  :bawl:
so I would suggest re treating them asap
