Did anyone else hear Mathew Paris’s ‘zipper analogy’ on Teresa May’s Brexit position/control on Radio4’s World at One today.?
Hilarious and accurate in equal measure

Discussing politics on here is worse than abusing the "quote" button.  :stirpot:

Politics and politicians have had their day! It's all a big joke now, until it's brought up at the wrong place and time! And I made an executive decision a few weekends ago when two of the regulars on our Rideout posse decided to work me up about politics and a few other thing's and it was then I started to think how these same pair had sabotaged a few suggestions for runs I had planned, they always made us late away, and nearly always wanted back home early for various reasons and it started to spoil some of our Sunday runs (Usually 250 miles average) So it was a great opertunity to wield the axe, and I can honestly say it's like having a ball and chain removed from my leg going out on my own again and a smaller group the rest of the time
The old saying goes "Familiarity breeds contempt" and how true that is!
