balancing throttle bodies

Being a retired truck mechanic I have always serviced and repaired my own vehicles. I have a set of vacuum gauges which I have used to balance carbs/throttle bodies. Can I balance the throttle bodies on my 2016 DL650. Or does it involve a computer. Most things these days seem to involve unnecessary over complicated electronic shyte.

You can... but I wouldn't bother.
After 55k on my K6 the throttles were out so little it was hardly worth doing... and made no difference when I had.
They had never been checked or adjusted until 55k.

You are supposed to use a computer on fuel injection models to lock the ISC valve. My local mechanic told me to get a dealer to do it although also said the dealer should have done it as part of servicing...

I balanced my K9 with no problems whatsoever, not sure if the later models have any major engine control differences except maybe emission gadgets. In any case you could always just check the balance anyway to see if it is out.
