Stator and rotor
« on: September 29, 2018, 13:25:44 »
Hello
Can anyone here tell me if a stator and rotor from V-strom 650 07 model will fit a 09 model?
As you can see I need another :-)

If I remember correctly, yes, they both have the same stator output. The K4 - K6 Wee had a lower stator / wattage output. Just to make 100% certain, it would be best to check the listed part numbers for these two models (ie K7 vs K9).

I've just confirmed that the stators are the same for the K7 / K7A / K8 / K9: https://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/c/suzuki_motorcycle/parts/
part number changed from 32101-17G10 to 32101-17G12 on both the K7 and K9
And if you wonder why the K7 & K7A, the K7 is without ABS while K7A has ABS.

Hello Temp, can I ask what happened to cause the damage? Was it internal or a road rash ?

The damage was more then just the stator and magnet.
The crank shaft has been bent  ### didn't chek that at once.
Anyone here have a spare engine for sale?
