You probably knew that........
It's a trusted and proved unit that Suzuki have sucessfully used against single, twin and even triple engined oppostion for the last two decades now.
It is true though that suspending the motor from above has put a lot ot frame, large aluminium box section, in the visual path of admiring two cylinders. The fact that it's liquid cooled also detracts from the visual attraction; in all that means the rear cylinder is hidden and the flowering 'fins' are no longer necessary. Some motors have tentative decoration to mimic the past.....a bit.
You can't include the V Strom amongst Moto Guzzi and Ducatis V's or even BMW boxers which still have a very strong visual appearance of the engine cylinders. And then there's H-D's..........
