DL650 vs DL650X
« on: February 18, 2018, 19:22:30 »
Hello blokes
So in the web site Motocyclespecs (http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za) there are two different DL650 V-Strom

DL650 (http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/suzu/suzuki_dl650_v%2007.htm)
and
DL650X (http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/suzu/suzuki_dl650X_v%2007.htm)

can anyone tell me what the differences are?

I have the DL. It has cast instead of wire wheels, no hand guards, no engine cover and maybe another trinket.
The cast wheels are lighter (a bit) easier to clean. I have a Givy sump guard in steel to protect the oil filter. I will probably buy some hand guards.

Depends whether you want, the admittedly pretty, spoked wheels or the ease of cast.
