Footpegs
« on: February 11, 2018, 17:21:46 »
Apologies if been posted before, couldn't find an answer with search.

Does anyone else find the footpegs in the way when putting feet down, and if so have they made any mods to solve the problem?
Cheers
Marty

Took me a while to get used to the positioning on my Glee. I suspect it was fixed when I fitted a footpeg lowering kit.

Been modifying, a pair of GS pegs bit more fettling required, but nearly there. Because of the design, puts them reward 20mm or so. Should improve the situation, will report back when tested.

A bit irritating but I just live with it. I don't do a lot of stop/ start riding so not really a big problem.

Like Old Git, I find it a bit irritating but have learned to live with it and if I'm going to be stopped more than a few seconds and I'm flatfooting, I find it's satisfying to push the pegs upwards using the backs of my calves. They spring back, of course, as soon as I set off again (the pegs, not my calves, although...)
