You Got to love forums, Intermittent non starter
« on: January 06, 2018, 15:52:37 »
Noticed on a couple of occasions that the bike was lazy starting, not slow or laboured but there was a delay between hitting the button and some activity from below.
This morning after standing for 3 weeks with only the Optimate for company there was no reaction at all from Mr Engine :angry-banghead:

Solved Via this very site, there are some posts from around 2013 that were pointing towards the clutch switch and BOOM!! problem solved in about 5 Min's as my local dealer had one on the shelf :happydance:

forums really are a great resource and this one is no exception
I used to follow a Hayabusa forum and the discussions there were more about Obama and gun control and less about bikes

Have a great and safe new year all and thanks for your (Indirect) help

Huw

What he said, but are you sure you couldn't have fixed it with small arms fire?
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Small arms can't reach the clutch lever easily. I would think it impossible if they were on fire.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

The last two posts were perfect examples of phrases you won't find on the Busa Forum either

lol Greywolf you silly sausage. Not small arms like a Tyrannosaurus had, I meant small arms as in a hand gun.

Hand gun talk would be found on the Busa forum. You blokes are trying to drive me to a state of confusion. I'll admit it's a short trip.
