Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there 2 bulbs in a vstrom rear light unit?

I think the early ones had two, but my 2016 V Strom only has one.

I have.

Yes my arse does look big.

lol at the risk of being rude, and in this day and age of political correctness, but would you consider showing me your rear end in the form of a picture or two. The bike of course.  :)

You reeeealy need to see Graham62's arse end. He has many lights AND grenade launchers.

True story.

Yes, I was going to mention Graham62's setup. LED marker lights in top box that are also brake lights, plus extra marker/brake lights on luggage rails. Redder than a baboon's bum when he's braking.

Thanks for that, I can't find the photo's or my rear end so I'll have to do some posing and get some sorted for you if you really want to see it.

At the risk of sound Gay, I'd love to see pictures of your rear end, this would help me to decide if I want to modify my rear end too. At this rate this post will be in the Sun newspaper sometime  lol.
Seriously if you do take some pictures, that would be great  :thumb:

Very impressive, I take it you just wired them straight into the back light wires with no relay involved. As you may have guessed electrics are not my strong point.

@ Lincsman, the ones on the racks are wired to the feed for the auxiliary front lights but you could go from the back light feed. I have now moved them to a bracket fixed to the topbox rack as on the pannier racks they kept blowing from the vibrations. The ones on the topbox are brake lights about the right height for car drivers not to miss, Its a bit of a tight squeeze to get to the wires and that's why I did the back lights to the other auxiliary lights. all of them are the cheap ones of flebay.

I've used Car Motorcycle 10W LED Eagle Eye Daytime Running DRL Tail Light Backup Lamp 12V
and some armored cable cleats to fix them onto the racks.
If you need any help with anything just PM me.

:ty: You are a gent Sir, I'm looking at a strip LED to put on the bottom of my number plate, I can then route the wires up the back to the bulb and indicator wires. We'll that the plan anyway.  :lala:
Forgot to say that this is what I'm looking at.

I've got one of them but I couldn't think of the best put it as I don't think the sticky tape looks strong enough if bending it . I didn't think about the bottom of the number plate.
