Headlamp relays
« on: August 28, 2017, 20:41:21 »
Here's a question for anybody that has fitted headlamp relays to a Glee (e.g. the Eastern Beaver kit)
I'm getting together all of the necessary bits to fabricate the add on loom, but thought I'd check where others have located the relays. Having a quick look round, the fairing frame looks a likely spot, or perhaps under the tank?
Any suggestions/experiences would be welcomed.

I zip tied mine to the top rail of the fairing frame. That keeps the electrical connections down so water won't pool on them.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Thanks greywolf, that was one of the places I had in mind.

Mine are on the perforated upright behind and between the headlamps.

Ah, OK I see the area you're referring to.
