It's yellow because I didn't like orange. Adding electronic cruise control, a voltmeter, an air horn, heated gear that has separate controls for body and hands turns plus off when the brake light is held on, a garage door opener, GPS with MP3 player feeding head phones, headlight relays, speedometer correction and a fuse block switched on and off with the ignition while carrying an air compressor and a socket set adds a lot of stuff under the seat. Not properly planning the wiring ahead of time adds to the amount of stuff, similar to the previous sentence.

I see you tried a word that Americans use instead of a bit cold or somewhat brilliant and the Americanism filter chose the wrong option. That's always a source of fun.

I made a 16" tool tube out of soil pipe and screw off end caps and a couple of exhaust straps.

Someone said as I was putting my tool kit back in there... "Load aft torpedo tube!"

The new owner of the rear rack and attached tube uses it to carry his 12" sub, cookie and drink to work.

2k miles around Scotland a few years ago on my Wee.
It showed up the fact the Mrs needed her own big bike to carry her own sh##!

2x 44ltr panniers, 48ltr topbox, 30ltr tank bag, and a 25ltr roll bag strapped to the topbox.

Now she has her own 1400cc bike and I still end up as a pack horse with an aditional 90ltr bag on the back seat!

But then again it might all be a different story if I could find somewhere to fit a ~~tardis~~ tool tube to the Varadero.

A Tardis would handle the job just fine as long as the door was big enough or there was a transporter included. The bigger inside than outside is a basic but I don't know if details of moving big stuff between inside and outside was ever covered. It does seem a bit redundant to mount a Tardis on another machine that can only handle a relatively slow change between surface coordinates but the joy of the journey needs to be taken into account.
