Knuckle guards
« on: May 18, 2017, 13:22:39 »
Afternoon....
I recently fitted some genuine knuckle guards to my Glee.

Since doing so I have noticed a much increased amount of vibration through the handle bars to the extent that my hands now go numb quite regularly.
This never happened before I added them.
Has anyone else had the same experience? Maybe I've made a mistake in installing?

Are the bar end tightened up properly?

You know that did cross my mind.

When fitting the guards I noticed the fixings for the weights which came with them are a lot shorter than the originals. I wonder if that is the issue?

I'll check how secure they are on the way home

Thanks mate. Reading that thread I bet the vibration is from the weight fittings.
I'll go through that thread and hopefully get the issue sorted.

Fitted genuine guards to my Glee, didn't have any issues. It could be the bar end weights causing the problem. Good luck !

Well when I left work the other day I checked the weights and they were indeed slack....hand tightened them and there was an improvement going home....haven't managed to tighten properly but hopefully that will be it.

Cheers all
