Removing internal sun visor from AGV K3 SV?
« on: April 13, 2017, 17:52:21 »
I want to take the internal sun visor out.

I think the instructions said to "just pull it out" but after a trying that it feels like it wants to stay in.. I don't want to force it and snap the plastic brackets.

Has anyone removed an internal sun visor from a similar lid?

Do tell! I'm always wary of how much pressure is involved when an instruction manual states "remove x"

oh... alright then.

Push inwards on the front side of the sun visor (white arrow) which will have the effect of pushing the clip on the end section outwards away from the bracket (red arrow). Then, with your other hand, pull the visor outwards and it should release much more easily. No broken brackets. Repeat for opposite side..

Now I'm going to put some window tint film on it to dark it a little more.

...which didn't work as the curve is too tight, looks like I'll be buying a new inner visor with dark tint then... worth a try though first..
