I put a set of these on  (first link of the type I found) http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs-125W-U5-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Headlight-LED-Fog-Spot-Lights-Bulb-Switch-/331912580418?hash=item4d47880d42%3Ag%3A0qwAAOSwNKRXjHsW&_trkparms=pageci%253A593cf675-0768-11e7-8e8e-74dbd1805e0f%257Cparentrq%253Ac45be58c15a0a2ab961abe79fffaa874%257Ciid%253A1

They're cheap & I had to remove the 'U2' chip to disable the strobe light, but whilst in there added a load of ACF50 and extra silicone sealant to ensure they're waterproof as heard reports they can leak. Been on almost a year now and still working well.

I also made replacement Kirkby lights too which are always on (although for some weird reason the rear sets I made never lasted one ride )

Pics below (they'll probably be the wrong way round as off my phone & ignore the blown headlight bulb in one of them)

Led mounted in socket welded into crash bars. Cables run in through bars.

Mounted my small led's on the mirror extenders to keep them out of the way in case of accidental drops....

One of my spot lights has died... Amazon shows I ordered them on 22 March 2016 so it lasted just under 12 months. I'll pull it apart at the weekend to see if any obvious damage. Will have to order some more.

Okay, My bike is a KLV1000 but here are my green DRL's. They get noticed and if ALL bikers had them, we'd be recognised as motorbikes, just as flashing white and red lights are now recognised as push-bikes. I think they help in filtering too.

They are NOT illegal - I've checked, double-checked, and triple-checked.

That's interesting, I hadn't realised that the law regarding this was so granular. So you could use colours other than the regulation red/white/amber on your ride ?

No. Steady Red is not to be shown to the front. White at the front - well that's your sidelight(s). Steady amber is okay, but too similar to indicators and council trucks to be noticeable, IMHO. Steady blue is actually not illegal, but if trying to impersonate a police officer and taking the p*ss is your thing....

That leaves steady green and people are not really sure so they get out of the way - "Just in case..."

I just say I'm a gardener on call

That green idea's fascinating, FPM. It'd need regulating, and if we all did it "they" might get colour blind to green, but I'd like to see someone ( not the old TRRL ) do an in-depth study on that

Bikevis aux lights on SWMotech brackets, Phillips Extreme Vision headlamp bulbs, little leds in spare screen holes, and a headlamp relay kit to get the juice straight to the H4 connectors rather than through the handlebar switch. 5 pin relay means I can flash the lot using FR's VOX switch, little rocker switch in fairing to run them with dipped beam when I want them on permanently.
Th RAM ball for the camera is my add-on, it was one of the reasons I got the Motech brackets. It's solid, less vibey than engine bars and further out of the road spray when it rains. As are the lamps, the last lot lasted one week and 2,000 miles on the bars, so I wanted them higher.
