Suzuki workshop manual for 2014 onwards
« on: March 05, 2017, 14:42:35 »
I have searched forum, and the net, not a lot of info reference getting hold of work shop manual for this model (2014-).

Haynes do the earlier model version (2002-13), not ours (yet)

If anyone has purchased or got hold of one, electronic or otherwise kindly point me in right direction.

The part number you need is 99500-39500-01E - put it into Google and there are some places with it for sale.

I got the factory manual from the dealer when I bought the bike a couple of years ago.

I've got a copy on cd somewhere. Can't remember where I had it from. I could do a copy if you want.

I noticed a while back that link works in Firefox, bot not in Chrome.

If I own a bike though, I want to buy a genuine factory manual. It is expensive, but I used to make a living involving writing software and I respect copyrights. It takes a lot of work to write a service manual and I respect that work. A genuine Suzuki manual will have a book bound spine, I.E. glued at the spine, not plastic edged or loose leaf.  All PDF versions are pirated.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Access was via the Suzuki Delaer Service Portal - if you go back to the header site, you'll see the login: http://www.crservice.dk/

Got the manual via a mix of the original online manual and scans from the actual manual. On CD or via Dropbox...

I have it on DropBox - send me a PM and I'll give you access so you can download - it is a mixture of the online manual and scans from the Workshop manual

Hi,

Has anyone a link for the manual? I have a 2018 1000 but I think the manual is almost the same as the 2014-2016. I do not mind buying it.

Thanks
