Number Plate Light
« on: December 30, 2016, 14:22:56 »
Hi - Anyone know if different bikes in the Suzuki range use the same number plate light - The DL ones seems really expensive secondhand. Mines broken thanks to Gozzers brakes not being as good as my 4 potters.........

Have you tried just searching for a rear mudguard with one on? Might work out cheaper...

Typical.
If it's not too much of a mess to cover up you could blank off where the original light was and fit an alternative. Unless you want to keep it standard of course.

I've never liked the "brick" Suzuki used on my bike as licence plate light. So I replaced it with one for SV650 I got 2nd hand very cheap from eBay. Just had to widen the holes a bit on the mudguard but it's not a problem. When time comes to sell the bike, I'll put the "brick" back on and it will still cover the holes.
