NEC Live 2016 Sunday 20th Nov Pics
« on: November 22, 2016, 12:18:07 »
Here are a few pictures from Sunday at the NEC of the New V-Strom looks better in the flesh than the pictures show. I did not like the Yellow seat showing too much dirt the one on the Strom was dirty only after 2 days at the show.  I know lots of people will sit on it but wait till it goes out in the real world.

Lots of plastic the beak was tacky and would be the first thing to snap off even if you catch it with something only self tapping screws holding it on.

Enjoy The Pics  :thumb:

Out of them all I was quite taken by the 250. If its at a decent price point be tempting for my needs
Do blue ones go faster..... only one way to find out.... now how does it go back together

Don't think I'll be changing my white 2016 V Strom anytime soon, thanks for the picture mind.

having said that my first bike a Yamaha 50 (Fried Sausage 1 Egg) was yellow. Bought when I left school at 16 to get to work my first job! Then when I was a big boy (17) I bought another Yamaha RS125 DX which was also yellow!
So why don't I like it on the strom?

My first bike was yellow, crappy Honda ss50 but I was 16 then,  I'll be 54 soon I don't want to stand out anymore!
I like the look of the new 650, that'll be on my short list in a few years when I'm finish with the Veek, but not YELLOW Suzuki

Jez. That top box was huge and I think the bike was about £3 a week on hp, then some shit nicked it, I was gutted. :bawl:

I had to borrow my Mum's bright yellow Austin Allegro for a time when I was younger.

Enough said.

At least you didn't own it like my poor brother, no wonder he was single for so long.

Sorry, but that's a mingling colour scheme. Looks like an 80's shell suit.

I think I'm in the minority here but , I really like the yellow , they have bought it up to date and brightened up the range from , lets face it dreary colours ,

I quite like the new stroms! only thing I do agree with though is that the yellow seat won't be great - looks good initially but in the real world it will just get dull and full of muck!

Also...Yellow is a wonderful colour for a bike , although I might be a bit biased...(my dads bike when I was a lad, the one that really got me interested in motorbikes).
