I'll try and see where its made if I can get close enough at the NEC bike show in Birmingham next week. Fit and finish don't look so great in the pictures but you really only can tell in the flesh.
Perhaps chance to compare it with Kawasaki and BMW's new offerings in this new (or is it just revived) sector of the market. Seems they all realised at about the same time that selling nothing but big bikes was the slow road to nowhere.
My local dealer gave up with (or just as likely lost) their traditional arrangements with the main Japanese and European manufacturers. For over two years they have imported their own range of Chinese made bikes from a few manufacturers there. Add their own brand name and model designations and sell them to new motorcyclists. The owners I've met are very happy with them. The traditional manufacturer's just didn't have anything in their ranges so threw opportunity away.
