Sudden mileage jump?
« on: October 22, 2016, 09:37:01 »
Hi all,

[2012 Glee]

Any idea what happened here? I was checking the wiring on my heated grips which involved disconnecting the battery. Once done, I had to reset the clock but in cycling through the displays (trip 1 / 2, etc. ), I noticed my overall mileage is now showing as up over 30,000 which was a surprise as before I started, it was at about 23,000.

Is there a way to get it out back? How do I avoid this in the future?

Cheers!

I think when you disconnect the electrics and reconnect it goes to the default foreign settings.

I think you need it on ODO and press and hold the button on the dash to swap it back.

Yeah. Go down the wood yard and buy 2.4 meters of 4"x 3"
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.
