Hi everyone,
I've had a look for some discussion on this topic and although I think it features in a lot of feeds the dedicated ones seem to be a few years old so I hope no one minds me starting this thread.
I currently have road pilot 4s on my wee, and although a great tyre, I have had 4 punctures in a year, 3 in the last 3 Months! I commute 40 miles a day and do about 14 miles of country lanes and I am sure it is this combined with the heavy rain of late which is causing these.
I am thinking that a switch to dual purpose tyres may help my situation and although I am aware this may compromise some of my handling and comfort, I have to do something.
There seem so many to choose from I am not sure what will be best, I have seen a lot about the anakees but looking at pictures (which I know is not a great judge!) doesn't seem to have much of a deep tread.
Can anyone offer any advice/give any recommendations from their own experiences?
Appreciate everyone's time,
Thanks,
Adam
