LV Insurance

Has anyone used LV for bike insurance
I am with Carole Nash at the moment but contacted LV as my cars are with them via CSMA discount.
Carole Nash came up with £189 renewal and LV £69.85 (both business class 1)
LV doesn't include European cover but have found that with startrescue.co.uk for £58.50

Has anyone used LV and got any views on using them for bikes?

All my insurance companies seem fine but then (touch wood) I've never had to use them. Just make sure you read the policies, especially the exclusions to make sure you're happy.

By European cover, you mean breakdown cover? (For now) I think all insurance companies include insurance cover for so many days for EU visits as standard (this will probably change in future as they'll see £££ for  being able to charge more)

Depending on how often you go to the EU, you may be better off buying separate breakdown cover anyway.

Hi
I use LV for my car and bike insurance, they are based in Poole, Dorset near where I used to live, they have been going for years, previous name was Frizzels insurance, really good price. They've only recently started doing Bike insurance.
I used them for years before moving to France, for cars, motorhomes, and boats.
Only needed to make a claim once but the service was superb , car was repaired and returned from the Ford garage within a week.
You need 4 years NCB before they give you protected NCB.
Any more than one vehicle insured with them and you get a discount for others.
Hope this helps
