I was told it's true if you buy them at time of the bike. Suzuki say they're covered by a 12 month warranty if bought separate, however said I need to go to a dealership to inspect for Suzuki to consider a claim. Unfortunately I'd already removed them from the bike as salt and road chap was stuck behind them. I do have a photo of them lifting at the time, and the panel protectors being fine but not sure if they'd accept that or if I can be bothered to ride 30+mins to the nearest dealership.
I passed Orwell's when I was at the mother-in-law's last year. Remember thinking they always get good reviews on here. Unfortunately the wife didn't think I had any reason to go in and look at the new bikes

I originally had sealant on mine but when I took them off to fit the frame protector, the nuts behind had surface oxidisation. Didn't bother resealing as figured it was trapping moisture in.
