Strange messages

a couple of weeks ago I got a message on my phone regarding an imminent delivery.
I was 350 miles from home on holiday and I hadn't ordered anything. So I deleted it.

Next day I got a similar message from a different delivery firm. So I ignored that.

Now I have a customer satisfaction questionnaire regarding a recent "My Hemes" delivery, This time to my Yahoo email. Again I know nothing about any recent delivery.

So might they be phishing or malware messages . I didn't click on or open it.

Anybody else experienced this sort of thing?

Not heard of it before but it does sound phishy to me...

A good rule of thumb is if you didn't order anything just delete the message(s). If someone genuinely wants to contact you they'll persist. Like being called from a number you don't recognise, let it go to voicemail - if the caller really wants to talk to you they'll leave a message.

Yes I've heard about this before, I think once you contact them they ask you to confirm your details , card number etc and away they go. Leave it alone and don't click the link

Right. It's the beginning to a phishing expedition.

Check all credit and debit cards for unrecognised transactions. I was a victim of the Sony hack. Someone 300 miles away bought a very large, very expensive telly on my card. Something may have been delivered somewhere and billed to you.
