Wondered if anyone has ever used one of these little gadgets..? £45 from amazon.
Off to meet family in the depths of Cornwall over the august bank holiday so I bought this well made tool to hold the throttle open. Once rode from Switzerland to home in 11 hours and ended up with a repetative strain injury in my right arm so hoping this helps as we will probably cover around 800 miles give or take.
Gave it a try out down my local motorway and seemed easy enough to use but the only downside is that it supposed to rest on the brake lever but my hand guard gets in the way so decided to use that as it's resting point instead , seems to be happy there .
I used to have the cruise control that sat under your hand but found that it slipped which needed constant adjustment but still required your arm to be in the same position all the time . This upgrade allows you to completely rest your arm, although safety advises against removing your arm away from the grip.
