They look like a good idea. I normally strap two 10litre ortleb bags to my engine bars , works OK .
What size bags are they? 5

can't remember exact size, but something like that. I tend to put stuff in them that wouldn't be a disaster if they got stolen as I leave them on the bike. Never had a problem so far though.
