Hazard lights.
« on: July 04, 2016, 08:02:19 »
I took my bike out for an evening run in Northumberland yesterday. After an hour or so in the saddle, I decided to stop at the side of a long straight piece of road to have a coffee and admire the views. For all the traffic was light, the cars that did come past were travelling at a fair speed. Dusk wasn't far off and I thought the bike might be getting hard to spot so I went to put the hazards on to make it more visible. I was surprised to see that they only worked with the ignition on. Obviously it's not practical to sit there, engine off, with the head and tail lights on and I was wondering whether it's an easy fix to wire the hazard lights to make them useable with the ignition turned off. Any solution would have to be explained to me in simple terms I'm afraid.

Turn the key to "park".
They should work.
