Fitted a nav/phone mount to my vee
« on: July 01, 2016, 13:18:57 »
Look at this on eBay  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311511096518

As per title,

I used the feed from the heated grips to supply power to it.

It holds my phone quite tightly and it's a 5v 2 amp supply so my note 4 charges pretty fast on it,  somewhere tucked away in a box I've got a short cable with a right angle plug to reduce the strain a little.

Probably in the same box as the cable there's a waterproof case for my phone should the weather be on the wet side.

Yes that looks OK. I used the supply to the socket on the dash easy to get at.

Do it today as there may not be a tomorrow.

No probs, it seems a great price for what you get so thought it was worth a shout.

What model has a socket already there?
That would have been handy for sure!

I found a way... And it does the job. It's very secure on the bike too.

A couple of pics attached.
