Indicator Buzzer
« on: June 29, 2016, 12:36:57 »
I am fitting an indicator buzzer to my 2014 650 V strom.
There are 3 wires, connected to the buzzer, one should go to each of the positive wires to the indicators, and one should go to earth ( on the indicators)

Does anyone know which of the wires to the indicators are positive / negative?

The indicator wires on my bike  are right front, ( green wire and Black and white stripe wire)
left front ,   ( black wire and Black and white stripe wire)
I think I may have connected them wrongly when fitting, as they are not working.
I am now thinking that the black with white stripe wires are negative, and the black wire and green wire are positive.
Can anyone advise if that is correct IE black with white stripe - negative, and black wire and green wire - positive.

If you look at it logically, the black with white tracer is common on both indicators so would be ground/negative and solid green & solid black are feed/positive wires.

Thanks for the replies. You are both right. The black with white stripe is earth.
