The pads are playing on the pins, I'm guessing they will need changing soon.

Make sure the rear caliper carrier keyway embraces the key welded to the swingarm. If the keyway is above the key, the carrier will loudly click against the swingarm upon braking. A small click can be due to the two main piece construction of the steel rotor disc and alloy rotor hub.

Have you checked there is nothing caught in the brake pads, tiny bit of grit ? Try moving backwards and applying brakes.

I get a click/clunk from one of the front calipers - have stripped, inspected, cleaned and it still does it. Brakes seem to work fine so I'm not worrying about it.

It's not the click of the brake light switch you're hearing is it?

Don't know but went to the main dealers today for some bolts and stuff and when I give him the Reg number the bike came back with a recall on it was shocked at first then he told me it was for the rear brake light switch so it could be that.

The recall on the L2 Glee was for the front brake switch. It would be very unusual for any unit not to have that already done by now.

See if the front brake switch has a white paint dot on it. That is how the early models at the dealer or after recall service were marked to indicate the recall service was done. Later models had proper switches installed at the factory.

To Greywolf you it is the front switch and it as no paint mark on it they have now tried to register the bike in my name.
