Thanks Greywolf, so are you saying that the power blip I'm getting is a normal symptom of this? It is as if I closed the throttle for a split second and then it's OK for a few seconds and repeats. Cheers

That is often how the problem manifests. One spot in the throttle position doesn't get the right amount of fuel. That spot may become more evident as the engine heats up.
