As loom requires tank and airbox out, it must be less expensive for the service as that part of the work is covered by recall.
Can´t tell you the price as here in Portugal is completely different. For first service I paid 65 euros while some people in UK paid £300.

Hi bosnjo I was told approx £300, but didn't know if that was good or bad, seems bad in comparison to Vic929 £160/£220.

Bare in mind that 4 plugs cost £8 for the Veek.

Called into my dealer yesterday to grt an oil filter. Asked about the 7500 mile service,  he said it would be about £220.  I said that was a bit much, he said well you don't want to still own the bike  by the 15000 mile one then as its £580!!!
Ps they had no spark plugs in stock for the Veek, not that I need them but shows they can't have done to many major services.

When you must change spark plugs, on 12.000km or 24.000km? Here in Croatia is 12.000km...in Slovenia is 24.000  :smirk:...in Garmany 24.000km....why the period is different?

In the uk its minor at 7500 miles  or 12 months and major at 15000 miles or 24 months.
At first they said new plugs every 7500 mile service but that's changed to 15000 now.

This should read 4 plugs for a Veek cost £80.00.

I just had to fork out £289 for a 7500 service on my GLEE. I nearly passed out when I saw the total (and my wife is still giving me serious GBH of the earholes). Thick end of £300 quid just to replace 4 plugs, oil and filter? No wonder main dealers are closing down - its tante amount to extortion. Thank god the warranty (never worth the paper they are written on) expires in September - I'm doing my own from here on in and using a local garage (Tag Racing Ashford - very reasonable) for any major work from here on in. 2 fingers to Suzuki!  :dl_soapbox:

Just dropped mine in for 7500 too. Quote was £120 plus parts, may need a new throttle cable too. Will update when I get the call.

The 7500 mile service does seem to vary a lot on price on a Veek. Mine was northern irelands main Suzuki dealer.
I got a filter and oil so I'll do it myself. I'd looked at the air filter and spark plugs over the winter and all fine, plus in October when I got the new ecu Suzuki made the dealer check the throttle body balance and all was well.

I'm still waiting for decision on ecu so haven't been to collect bike, so still owe for service will expect to be £300+ . Bit steep for what it entails.

I was quoted £145 today for the annual/4,000 mile service. Seems to be mainly an oil & filter change & £99 labour !

Of course the problem is that we all like a deal when we buy our bikes, but then we get screwed three fold at service time. It would be nice to get a deal where the price is right to start with and then servicing is such a pleasant experience we don't need to price anything up ourselves on eBay. I'm either drunk or dreaming  :obscene-drinkingchug: :dl_ninite:

Full syn oil 3.1 lit, oil filter and labour is £60 in Croatia. I didn't change spark plugs on 12.000km because I think that is stupid...to change iridium spark plug on that km
