Help removing dash on Glee

Hi
need some help to remove dash/ surround to tidy up wiring/ change side light bulbs,have taken out all screws and push in fixings it shows in manual,it  then  says pull foward but it won't budge don't want break it, is it clipped in some where else?

It pushes into a rubber grommet in central location between headlight bulbs, if that's a dry grommet it can be hard to pull out the first time, other than that it just clips onto the side fairing pieces so should come out easily.
Providing you have all the allen bolts and the 4 plastic pop rivets removed.

didn't know about  rubber grommet will pull a bit harder then, is the electrical connector easy to get at /disconnect ?

You have to pull up to release from the grommet. The sides are released first by pushing the parts toward a V shape at the seams.

Yes mate the electrical connector comes off after you get the dash apart from the fairing.
There's enough slack in the cable to give plenty of leeway. It's covered by a rubber boot and just pulls out.
You'll have to reset the clock and change the odo back to MPH after you disconnect it though.

Make sure to display a trip meter and set the display to MPG UK or your fuel economy reading will plummet and ambient air temperature will be in Fahrenheit if you accidentally select MPG US.
