Keis G701S.  Tried out my new heated gloves tonight at 7C degrees out.  Lovely and warm even at motorway speeds. Just need to sort out the cables in my jacket, they need a few stitches to hold them in place.  These are the shorter cuff model that goes under the sleeve.  Highly recommended for those cold days.  Wired into the bike and brought the connector up at the front of the seat for ease of connection.

@Keith60 Maybe better that hot grips which leave the back of the hands and fingers cold so where did you get the gloves?

Missus swears by her Gerbing gloves which have lasted forever and been frankly abused commuting.
She has heated grips and hand guards on the new bike but says the gloves are still far superior, cable faff notwithstanding.

I have a pair of Keis inner heated gloves. I have tried to wear them but have not been able to connect them to the Keis heated jacket and put them on because the cables connecting the gloves to the jacket are too short and far too much of a faff.  Also like the heated jacket (for which I need a bigger outer jacket) they are a tight fit under my largest riding gloves. I think heated gloves are the way to go If I can also have a heated jacket.
On the Honda NC, now stripped back to standard for the sale, I  had a "Y" spliter and an extension SAE power cable with one end connected to the battery leaving two ends zip tied the handlebars. One outlet was for the Oxford Hot Grips and or Optimate - Never needs both at the same time - while the other was available for connection to my Keis jacket.  I may have to resurrect that for other bikes.

@Brockett.  I went to Sportsbikeshop and was able to try them for size.   They only had a large under jacket in stock, which felt a bit tight to me.  The beauty with the heated jacket is the gloves plug into the jacket, so the cable runs are avoided under the coat.  But with a big screen on my Triumph I may not need the heated jacket.  To be monitored!!

Dave, not sure why you find the jacket to gloves cable too short, Deb's is plenty long enough. Although it is a bit of a faff (still worth it for warm hands) she connects the gloves first then puts them on.
We use one of those 'Y' splitters and have it coming out between tank & seat. I can connect my jacket straight to it but Deb has a short extension cable from it to her jacket.

Keith, the Keis heated jackets are meant to be worn 'snug'. They should fit close to the torso with just a thin base layer underneath.

Changed the LED headlight bulbs for normal H4 bulbs after one of the LED units failed on my way home last night.

Also fitted a pair of grip puppies I've had kicking around in the garage for a couple of years.

But please, please, please look at a map before you say Yorkshire and Derbyshire are Upt'North, they're not, Southerners every one of em.
Now where's my tin titfer.

Hmmmm, interesting maps you have "Up North"
Unless of course you're including Scotland, in which case you're also a southerner  :icon_wink:

Everyone knows the border is Watford Gap services.

In work, our system has national areas, Wales, Scotland, N Ireland, Rep. Ireland
and that line denotes the separation between S England and N England  lol

P. S. I think we're off the top of that map. Just.
