Keep an eye on that rubber/plastic ball, Brockett. If it's from Ultimate Addons, I had one where the ball still spun round no matter how much I tightened the cap head screw that went through it. It got binned.

Heyco spanners, now there is a blast from the past. They can still be found lurking in a festering pile at the bottom of a cantilever tool box. There is usually only one though, the remainder of the set having long since been discarded/lost in some British Leyland pile.

I see your Pink (Green?) Shield stamps and raise you Embassy coupons. My late Father could demolish 60 a day, we always had a decent LiLo.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

@TLP   Embasy coopons eh? yes I remember them well.small blue things??  Pink shield stamps were a late competitor with Green shield. Our nearest local supermarket (when I lived in Potters Bar) dished them out and there wasn't anywhere nearer in walking distance from home.

@Rusty. Yes it did spin until I put a fancy star washer in there. It may well spin again if the plastic breaks down.

Today, the heated seat went back on. I know I'm a tart but there it is...

I had a heated seat on my 650 Burgman scooter. It helped keep the whole of my body warm.

Moto Guzzi V7 - Today I wired the power supply for the satnav through a switched live and a relay.

A bit overkill for a Sat Nav but nothing wrong with a Belt and braces approach...  :thumb:

Heated seat you say 2112, KTM saw an opportunity and put the rider's arse straight on top of the rear cylinder.

@kwackboy. This is stage one. USB charger and hot grips and DRLs could follow as winter boredom sets in.

Outrageous behaviour, Brockett. Think of all Bigpie's starving children if people like you just sort their own switched power supply. Shame on you, sir.

Is that the Route 59 Cafe near Bolton Bridge in North Yorkshire?
Or is there another one we don't know about?

Today, after a cracking run around some deserted roads in the borders, I hit the 8,000 mile mark on the tigger.

Took a different route to Oulton Broad 70 miles each way on the Moto Guzzi. Met a chap who has the same bike same colour and same mileage +/- 10miles and he said try it in Traction Control 1. I did and the difference is like night an day. Traction 2 is rain mode and that's how the bike is at handover. However in traction 1 the engine becomes smooth and it runs so much better. I liked it before but now I like it so much more. And I discovered that at 4200 RPM, the maximum revs while running in, a big red light appears on the dash with the legend "CHANGE GEAR". Who knew?            684 of the required 930 miles now completed. Unfortunately the weather is turning cold and wet for the next week or so. The time for running in before the winter is running out.

Someone on the Moto Guzzi facebook group was selling a used "Dart" screen in petrol blue. I took a bit of a punt on this not being a scam and today it arrived in the post. Perfect condition and all in the original packaging.  So that turned out nice.

I plead guilty to the crime of unnecessary adornment.  :shy:
The bar grips feel a bit thin and I thought they would  improve them.
They don't  :icon_no: and they clash with the dark tan seat.  :groan:
Grip Puppies , black of course, are next on the list.
