The difference is how they fit ...

I bought some cheap risers for my CB500s, they needed modifying to make them fit ..  :dl_smiley_banghead:

The Chinese ones come in various colours:
Silver, gold and even green if made from semi-skimmed tops.

As it looked to be a quiet day I rode the beamer into work to fit some new tyres ....
At some point during the morning I properly buggered my back so it took me over an hour with lots of whimpering and crying  :bawl:

The ride home was even more painfull and now I'll probably be laid up for a week ...  :GRR:

The old set lasted 5000miles but easily had another 1500miles in them but the rear was squared off

Anyway, a nice new set of Michelin Anakee Adventures.

Not a clue when they'll get used ...   lol

People without back trouble do not know how "life changing" it can be. I wish you a full and swift recovery.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Aaaah Naproxen, my go to tipple for my back issue's. My Chiropractor is in my friends and family contacts. :lala:

I still have a Walter White sized stash of Tramadol, "just in case".

Take it easy mate and keep mobile(ish). :thumb:

Cheers TL .. :thumb:

Once I'm up and about (ish), I shall be trying to contact a chiropractor but with the current situation I doubt it'll be soon.  :groan:

It's odd, my back issues started after taking a break from keeping fit around a year ago, never had any issues up until then ..

Rookie error there Kwackers me old mate, keeping fit never did anybody any good whatsoever.

I am a perfect example.

Chiropractors are open, I checked when I first saw your post and you moaning about a mere twinge.

Bad backs....... how have you got?

I could tell you a thing or ten :old:

Can't get your trousers on? Put a hat on, at least you'll be able to look out the window.

I got pulled over for having a bad back just before xmas one year. I'd twisted it at work on the last working day & was seen staggering across the car park holding on to anything I could then get into my car: it must have looked like I was absolutely legless after a festive lunch & the rear view mirror was lit up blue pretty soon into the journey I have to say.
'Would you like to get out of the car sir?' 'I'd rather not if you don't mind officer, it took me a hell of a time getting in here, and I'll probably have to fall out the door, which I'd rather do at home...' No smell of booze so sent on my way pretty quickly, but good to see a quick response to the call.

Dodgy things, backs. I stepped off a normal sized doorstep and sent shards of pain and immobility shooting up my spine. The day before I rode to the Ardèche. It took me an hour to get my gear on the next morning, but as soon as I sat on the glee, the pain vanished. Every morning and evening in France was at least a 30 minute contortionists act just getting in and out of the gear. Something and nothing of an incident can result in near-paralysis.

Whilst I am on full thread de-rail....

@Krockboy, to put your trollies on, lie on your back on your bed, same with socks and grundies. I still have to do this twenty one years after having a prolapsed disc removed.

Do you have any referred pain anywhere?

Good advice TL , I shall try that in the morning when I attempt to get dressed for an appointment with a local osteopath / chiropractor tomorrow .. 🤞🤞

The pain I have is my left  a r s e  cheek, this sends a funny feeling down my left leg.

Lying down is comfortable but walking is painful.

Sorry for your back troubles Kwackboy.
I am in the same camp as TLP, slipped 3 discs in my early 20's and had an op to remove the bits and trim what was left.
That pain is the sciatic nerve being pressed against something - you may have upset a disc or a vertebrae has moved a little?
Best rest lying down, if you do get up  gently does it and don't stay in one position for long periods - sitting especially.
Good luck  :thumb:
