Australian DL1000 recall

Suzuki Australia has issued a recall as at December 18 concerning possible corrosion on certain electrical connectors and impending fraying and subsequent failure of improperly routed wiring loom under the tank

we have heard of these problems but I think our climate has possibly saved us from it happening in most cases

It would be nice to know what exact spots on wiring loom (connectors, routes...) are they talking about. Maybe it's about wires bellow the tank. If there's something else, it'd be nice to know.
I doubt it's about front non-waterproof connectors, as this TSB is refering to L4, L5 and L6 models and new waterproof connectors were installed in the loom somewhere during L5 model production.

Here in the States something is happening too. No official word yet but the purchase of 'new' 2014 models at dealership seems to be delayed till January. Is Suzuki USA trying to get away with a technical service bulletin?

This letter got posted on ADVrider.com with VIN numbers. 2014/15 DL1000 models are on hold at US-dealers. Effected US-customers will get a recall notice around January 18.
