Various custom bits.
« on: August 28, 2015, 15:47:05 »
Hi all,
The strom has gone. I'm tryin a Super Tenere for a change <!-- s:auto-dirtbike: -->:auto-dirtbike:<!-- s:auto-dirtbike: --> . so I have a few bits an pieces for sale.

1. Givi Maxia 55 Top box with both keys. Perfect condition. Its the Black 'tech' colour. £130 + postage. I will meet you around the Manchester area if you prefer to collect. You are welcome to come and look as well.

2. Givi Monokey adaptor plate for the L2+ with all bolts and spacers. Includes the monokey plate. Mint, no rust or corrosion. £25.00 Or you can have the Box and the plate etc for £150.00 all in.

3. Mirror extenders. I'm pretty sure they are SW Motech but I've thrown the box. Black anodized, no marks with the 2 extra bolts. £15.00 posted or collected.

4. Givi tanklock ring. I think its a BF01, boxed with bolts and spacers etc. £10 posted or collected.

5. Renthal handlebar crossbar. Titanium colored bar with black anodized clamps. Mint. £15 posted or collected.

I recall reading somewhere that glees have a lh thread on the rh mirror, earlier bikes having std rh thread on both mirrors.
I stand to be corrected by anyone more knowledgeable than me!

Both models have right hand threads on the base. Glee mirrors have left hand threads on the stalk. Wee mirrors have all right hand threads.

Glee mirror.

Wee mirror

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s
