Time to take a difficult decision: to sell my beloved Glee! Genuine reason for sale, I am leaving the country to backpack Southeast Asia and NZ for a couple of years :-)
I bought her in April 2014 and it has proven to be an amazing motorbike. Loads of adventures together!
I am the second owner (bought it with 16000 miles). You all may know the first owner (
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21045&hilit=glee+My+Glee+now+for+sale), Josh looked after the bike with extreme care. In consequence I got a motorbike that looked totally brand new! I tried to do the same, and I actually take pride in the condition of the bike for its mileage :-). It has been always kept in a garage.
I recently came back from a 'big adventure', Brighton to Greece round-trip, 5000 miles and 15 countries. Never had a single issue. In fact, the bike hasn't had any important issues in its whole life. V-Stroms are famous because of their reliability for a reason :-)!
For this trip the bike was serviced, and new tyres installed (Michelin Anakee 2). As you can see in the pictures, they have still plenty of life. After the trip, the bike was serviced again (25/07/2015). So it is all ready for rock and roll!
I have all the paperwork, service history etc since the bike was originally purchased by the first owner. Her first MOT was done on 31/01/2015, and as expected, it passed totally fine. No issues at all. Next one due by 08/02/2015.
Currently it's got only two little issues: one of the led position lights may need replacing, and one of the auxiliary lights needs to be repaired.

I also could provide the motorbike restricted (for A2 licence) or unrestricted, depending on what licence you've got. I will be selling the restricted ECU separately, so if you need it please give me a shout!
I will be also selling all my other motorbike stuff, including helmets, clothing, tools, sprays, chain/disk lock... so if anything is of your interest please let me know.

I am willing to let you try the motorbike, however you will have to show proof of insurance, driving licence and passport. I will retain those whilst you are trying it. Many motorbikes have been stolen this way..
Price is £4200 - not negotiable. It is a very fair price for a bike with all these extras!
