K2 Vee For Sale
« on: August 03, 2015, 08:59:27 »
Hi All,

Pse forgive the post on this thread and not the For Sale thread, - after 5 years, my beloved K2 needs a new home.

Cannot work out how to up-load photos on here, beyond my limited computer know how, but good photos are on the Ad I have upon WightBay.com , similar to Ebay.

Have lavished loads of work and attention on this old girl - recovered seat, new brakes, discs, pistons, seals, pads, braided lines, master cylinders sorted, fork brace, bespoke SS through cans and link pipes by A16, sounds absolutely great, heated grips, scot-oiler, tall screen, blah, blah, I do my own servicing and change the oil and filter every 1000miles. Good condition - has been treated by AllyearBiker for past 3 years. Only 26500mls. MOT to Apri 2016.

Blinged up with Cymarc rad, oil cooler, chain guard and clutch/brake master cylinder covers. Tuono mirrors.

Shad 50 ltr top box - I don't need panniers with this, just a roll bag on the pillion and away I go.

Bad points - some cretin parked their bike too close, result, nice scratch about 1.5 long on RH fairing. Course they did not hang about. They were seen but no Reg No unfortunately. Have tried to polish out - no
joy.

Back tyre will need replaced soon. Has Bridgestones fitted but they are fine though.

She looks the Muts Nuts and rides/pulls lovely and the fork brace does work for the handling.

Colour is Grey.

Loads of spare, paperwork, owners manual and Haynes will come with her and the stock exhausts and mirrors.

Sorry to see her go but needs must - I think £1700 is a fair price for this Lady but will be guided by the Vee Masters on here.

Thanks for reading and Also Huge Thanks to All for the Advice and guidance on this Forum - one of the Best around in my view.

Cheers

Well after a Month of faffing about - have given up on the idiot who clearly doesn't know which end he is up, at least I don't know what he is at for sure, or what he is on.

The dork was not a forum member though.

Any way here goes again ...

My K2 Vee needs a new home. Have lavished loads of time on her, oil and filter changed every 1000mls. Waterless coolant installed - no rust and much cooler running, new thermostat fitted. Replaced discs, lines,( HEL Braided,) caliper and master pistons and seals, basically a rebuilt brakes system complete. Cans and link pipes replaced 2 years ago (still mint) with SS through jobs, sounds great as a Vee should. Fork brace fitted, R&G bar ends and bobbins. Givi Engine bars. Seat re-covered. Scott-oiler. Tall screen. Shad 50ltr Top Box, with a brand new grab-rail for when the top box isn't needed. Tuono Mirrors. Cymarc, Rad, Oil Cooler, Chain Guard and Clutch/Brake Master cylinder covers

Loads of spares come with her, spare bulbs, O rings, faring clips, cooling fan and 'stuff', that always comes in handy, especially when you haven't got it to hand.

ALLYEARBIKER - ACF50 treated for the past 3 years.

MOT to April 2016 and only 26500mls showing.

Comes with all receipts, Haynes and Owners Handbook etc.

Bad points - rear tyre (if you commute) won't last the winter  and will need replaced. Front is fine. Both are Bridgestones and are fine for me, in weathers.

Scratch on top rH fairing, about 2.5 inches long caused by a cretin parking his bike too close, so that when he got off his bike, clutch lever went straight onto the fairing. He then pissed off. Tried to polish out and made a  muck of it.  :shy:

Otherwise bike is fine, always kept on an Optimate (YUASA HD Battery fitted a couple of years ago) and starts on the button every time.

I ride all year round and can't be doing with fair weather nonces.

Will be sorry to see her go but have decided to go with a HD sportster 1200 for my last remaining biking years, as I approach retirement. So cannot keep two bikes.

Have seen similar around the £2k mark but think £1700 is a fair price, for this well cared for K2 Vee

Have attached pics - as I have nowt to hide - don't know if they will work though'.

If pics don't work PM with your email and I'll reply with the same pics as an attachment.

Hope someone will give this 'Lady' a nice home and ride her daily - that's  what she likes.

Cheers

You know you want to...... Really.

Not Mint, cause she has been ridden all year round, but will make any Vee Rider smile and has been kept clean and always dried off when put in the garage overnight.

Have extensively followed the advice on this forum, which has helped..... A lot.

Got to say this is THE BEST FORUM I've seen - have just signed up to the HD  UK Site, looking for similar 'expertise' and it is absolute pants. So be Proud.

Cheers,
