DL650 model

Hi, obviously I`m doing something wrong, but I can`t define what model of DL650 do I have?

I bought used DL650, it is 2006OCT, so it should be K6, but it comes with ABS (AL2?) , but ABS is only on pre-2007 models and up. So could somone help me out on determining the model of my ride?

I take it October 2006 is the build date. That would make it a 2007 model year or K7. That is the first year with ABS and ABS only came in Oort Grey Metallic with black wheels. Does it look like this with the addition of an ABS sticker on the front mudguard?

No it is not grey, it is black. With no ABS stickers on it.

Let us know from the info there if your bike actually has ABS.

Your bike has had paint work done. It's not a sure thing that is the original colour. See if you can find a build date on the frame sticker. Where did you get the 2006OCT info from?

Maybe UK members can help find the year from the paperwork.

I believe it comes from the VIN number that is on the frame, Latvian road safety authorithy checks it to register the motorcycle, and check if it is not stolen.

It helps to know you are from Latvia. The 2006OCT could be a registration date rather than a build date. Look for the build date on a frame sticker under the tank. Check to see if you have an idle adjustment screw under the tank as pictured at the Stromtrooper site.
