Vee and wee shocks are different lengths. So it would have a dramatic impact on ride height. can't remember if a wee shock on a vee makes it ride higher or lower.

Front calipers will fit all vee' and wee's and glee's but not Veek's.

The wee and vee have differnt shape/ size oil coolers/rads.

First post updated with what's been sold, what people have dibs on, but hasn't been sold and noteworthy other items people might be interested in. You can expect to pay about half of what anything costs new + postage, it's a bargain, get in there before someone else gets what you need

The chassis and running gear on this bike have been fully overhauled recently, it's all new powder coating, bearings etc. Forks fully overhauled and sliders re-chromed etc. You're all lucky people.

Hmm, like repairing things, how bad are the scratches, any cracks. Could they be repaired and painted?, if so, might well have them off you if you still have them, of course, as always depends on price etc (postage)

Sorry, regarding side panels, the ones I have are fine, no damage, just the colour was a bit out, but have decided to repaint them again, this time in the correct colour (I have learned from my mistakes !!!!!)
I do like to repair and re use things, as gives me a "buzz", hence question on hand guards, as long as they are not cracked and have no bits missing, willing to have a go for right money.

Hi Juvecu...just wondering that little piece of metal with your RAM ball attached ( one of the first photos on your rebuild thread) is this available as I'm having a nightmare trying to find an over the clocks mount for the early DL650 I can use with the madstad!!!

(would build my own but have none of the tools required to make something even remotely safe).

NTBooth, the Madstad is gone, the first post in this thread is being kept up to date with what's been sold already.

Edit: I reread your post, I think you meant you just want the RAM ball thingy I have. That is one of the few things I'm not planning on selling, I had to order it from the US and I'm sure I will use it in the future again. It comes like that, the ball attached to a small stem and it has a hole in the stem that you put a bolt into. This is where I got it from, they post to the UK:
