Neat job, do you feel a big improvement? did you change the brake lines/master cylinder as well? thanks.

Did you change the master cylinder as well? I see some recommend installing a bleeder valve up at the banjo on the master cylinder too.

How do you know whetehr to get the 62mm or 65mm hole offset, suppose it depends which calipers you get, maybe get them first and measure the offset?

I also had horribly spongy brake lever and piss poor stopping.
Flushed thoroughly - no change.
Cable tie on all night - much better lever, but still poor braking.
Change to EBC HH sintered pads - MUCH better!

Now happy.

For the ABS version you may wish to check the hoses - the ones that you can see are braided but up behind the forks its just normal Jap rubber hose which given time will go soft and expand under pressure - they did on my 58 plate & I could actually feel them expand between my fingers.
Hel (mentioned already in this thread) in Exeter now produce full set of braided hoses for the ABS version- they had mine as the pattern :)
Makes "Hel" of a difference. No really the difference is amazing and now more responsive than the brakes on my Explorer.
Well worth doing - but then being the first ABS one mine came foc :) (second bike to get that privilege - did the same with CBF1000)
blokes at Hel are very helpful.
Other tip is to use a vacuum unit to draw the fluid through the system - again much easier than forcing it. I use a Sealey hand vac unit having first put PTFE thread on the caliper bleed nipples.
