Hi , I'm considering making a tool holder on lhs of bike and adding rear end of an old exhaust as a cover. Anyone got an old exhaust that I could doctor? Or alternatively has anyone done similiar before?
Bike is 2009 DL650 Thanks in advance.

Hello mate,
I've got a spare plastic tube that some of us have fitted on the left-side, usually to the pannier rails, like this one:-

Was going to stick up on Fleabay, but if interested happy to post for £15, which is what I paid for it.
Let us know.

Nice job Mr D. That looks better than the Ebay one with the yellow graffiti on it.

Thanks for replies. Intended butchering an old exhaust and either inserting a tool tube or fabbing one from the can. Bike would look like the DL1000 from the rear.

That looks pretty good MrDiver, and more storage space than the Fleabay ones.
