£7580! An absolute bargain. It looks like prices are coming down due to market forces. Its cheaper than the new Yamaha Tracer. Pity for those that paid top whack.
Whoooosh!!!!!! `What was that?` That was your life passing by. `Can I have another go as I havent done anything yet?`........ Sorry, only one go for everyone.

Well blokes if Suzuki uk will honour the 2 year warranty for EU imports.
Then I can see no reason for buying a uk bike ?

Sorry to burst your bubble lawvar but the Veek price is for the basic bike. They have gleeks with full adventure kit for 7.7k but the Veek price is bare bones. They did say however that they will always negotiate if you are interested!

that's  a great price! !! I paid 8.5 for the base bike on 1st March. Granted that's hhere in Northern Ireland and we only have the one Suzuki dealer so its take it or leave it. For me the base bike is the way to go as some of the Suzuki accessories r not worth the money ie small panniers, useless hand and sump guards, look the part but to small to keep the wind r stones off, centre stand good thou and crash bars to if a bit heavy. Buy base, pick the best bits. At 7.7 that's much cheaper than a  tracer, tiger r gs 800, which I see as the stroms competition more than the bigger adventure bikes, bloody bargain! !

Hello blokes, when you talk about prices there in UK, is it all you pay for the bike or you still have to pay some additional taxes?
For example, £7.500 bike. How much does that bike cost on the road, I mean everything paid until last penny?
Here in Portugal prices on vehicles are complete. You pay for it and you get the key and ride (drive) away. Every single tax is included in the price, even the cost of licence plates and registration documents.
Having that in mind, my bike was €12.000, in pounds £8.950, with hand guards, fancy decals and belly pan. That was back in September 2014 and new ones are still the same price.

If it says on the road, that's it, ride off. If not its usually about £130 more on top for the on the road charges,  ie uk road tax(£78) and pdi(pre delivery inspection)

So, much cheaper then here. However, here you never pay announced price, you negotiate, but can´t get as low as in UK. The price here hasn't changed since the model launch.

We are starting to see parallel imports due to the £€, maybe this has made Suzuki UK realign prices to help official dealers ?

I just paid £8000 (plus OTR charges of around £90) for an official UK model with the adventure pack on.

Also got 0% finance over 4 years with no deposit.  :lala:

2 quick thoughts from me:

1.  Under EU laws what you supply in one county you must be prepared to supply in another.  Therefore you can buy a full UK spec bike elsewhere in Europe.  I did this with a car a few years back.  There are no issues with the vehicle if UK spec, but the dealers will try and make it awkward (like offering less trade in, because they can).

2.  At £7,500 you boys still pay a lot for your chips :-)
