I'm afraid my listening tends to be baroque organ music.....BUT - I've just been to the garage and started the 'Strom, just to hear that V-twin rumble! (Much improved by fitting a Fuel system instead of Mr Suzuki's muted affair).

RadioTT of course..
Always great coverage, and an essential part of the TT.
Tune in if you’ve never been, & get a great taste of the TT life.  :thumb:

Give it a couple of minutes..

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

It's just a proof of concept - kind of weird, but mesmerising.  I really like the tune  :thumb:

...and the bloke doing it has spent the past year making a proper version (ongoing)

Bloody nora, that looks like something TLP made in his garage...!
It takes a lot of balls to play that thing.

A great deal of thought and hard work went into every aspect of construction. What a pity the sound it produced was dull and repetitive percussion. As interesting as listening to a kid running a stick along a railing fence.  It is so dreadfully tedious that it will no doubt find it's way onto many YouTube videos.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Today would have been my Father-in-law John's 79th Birthday. Unfortunately, just a few months after retiring as a self-employed builder his lungs decided they were no longer compatible with all the asbestos he breathed in back in the fifties and sixties.

He was a car fanatic, and a biker back before I knew him. He was obsessed with Formula One and specifically Renaults. He wasn't what you could call a bright Lad, his Wife ordered all his skips and things and he "just built stuff". However, he was great to talk to on Cars and Bikes and we regularly took the piss out of each others motoring preferences.

On day he asked me to drive him out to a dealer to collect a Renault 21 Turbo. All the way there I had one song on loop in my car while he gabbled on about his new car. He never noticed.
