I just head a copy of "The Sound of Silence" but done by Disturbed (who are a US Heavy Metal Band). It was a bit like when Korn (another Heavy Metal Band) Covered Pink Floyd and Cameo.

It was very different! I liked it  :)

That was interesting. I quite liked it. I wonder what Paul and Art would think of it. I'm sure they'd like it.

King Creosote & John Hopkins - Diamond Mine (a truly sublime little album - it's only 31 minutes long [unless you go for the extended edition] and sports some beautifully etherial, slightly melancholy but nevertheless... hopeful melodies.) 'Bubble' is one of my favourite tracks of the past year and 'Your Young Voice', although more a loop than a song is a proper little ear worm - gets me whistling the melody for the rest of the day sometimes

Followed by half a dozen Floyd albums - Meddle through to The Wall (skipping the Final Travesty) and onto the 'Other stuff'

...and Finally back to Classic FM...
It's not paranoia, it's just reality on a finer scale... Strange Days - 1995

James - Sit Down

Just a brilliant version. Drumming and piano to die for.

Longer version, I can't find on disc
