Sweden is nice. But carry on north into Finland, then down the coast of Norway :)

You can do it in two long days riding, just about, but I'd recommend three days. All the way down south to the channel tunnel (by far the worst bit of the journey), across into France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden.

There is a ferry from the eat coast to Denmark I believe though, which will cut out a lot of the riding. May actually work out about the same cost-wise if you factor in fuel & wear-and-tear on the bike.

This was my trip, but I'm afraid the server that hosts the pictures is currently down. I'll give it a kick when I get the chance, but the link to my route is in the first post. The main focus for me was Norway, so I blasted through Sweden on the main roads, but it was very pretty, and easy to drive there.

Good idea! On a V-strom? Is it the riding you want in Sweden or the sights?
If you tell me "your vision" of the trip, I can give you a LOT of tips. I live in Sweden and have driven 2/3 of the country...

The ferry to Esbjerg doesn´t exist any more, I think that you should blame Ryan Air for that.

But if you ride through Jylland (Jutland) on the way to Sweden, perhaps I could show you a bit of Denmark.

That's a shame. Still, good excuse for a longer ride :)
