Excellent, with any luck, you will love it to bits!!

However, if you have ANY low rev nonsense with it, take it, the keys and the registration documents back to the dealers and demand your money back. Too many of us have been playing around with adjusting this, cleaning that, tweaking the other, just to get our bikes even vaguely OK. And most not succeeding. If your bike is afflicted in the same way, Suzuki need to know!! Hopefully, you won't have to as yours will be peachy good!

Tim

I got the red one loved that colour for ages wasn't keen on the khaki...

Tim hopefully I don't have problems as I have read about but will definitely keep you posted with how it all goes...  This is the bike I hope to keep a while so fingers crossed Suzuki have remedied the problems.

Hope you enjoy it. Had mine since March and very close to 10,000 miles and has run perfectly the whole time and is an absolute gem. See my post about Spain and you will see what a good bike it is.

Congratulations! The bike is great. I must be one of the fortunate ones to have no running issues! Can't wait to do some long tours

Well had the bike nearly 2week now and not managed to get out much with the weather and me bein a postie and finishin late but had a run about this evening just round village a few times (lol) and find the bike really easy to ride which is great, a lot different from my Bandit but I will get used to that....

No sign of low Rev probs yet but at only 39 miles on the clock it may not appear yet if I've a dodgy strom, find it a little snatchy when I set off but again it's diff to the Bandit and I'm just getting used to it but after a few goes I seemed to get better and smoother.... A long way to go but so far so good and really enjoying it, off to pick new radiator cover up from Cymarc tomorrow and that will finish the bike off yay  :)  :)

Heyup, I just noticed you were in sunny Goole, there is talk of a wee jaunt viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24858 passing through your place soon.

The A161 to Crowle from Goole is one of my faves....
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Hi folks.  I've just bought a new white v2. Its been sitting in the dealers from august and I kept looking at it but at ten g it was too much for me. I waited to see the yamaha tracer but it was too small for two up use, so I called back yesterday and he said give me 8600 for it so I did! Its just the standard bike, I know you blokes in England can get it much cheaper than that but that's good for here it Northern Ireland,  we only have the one suzi dealer. Hope its a good one!

Now seems a good time. Both my local dealers have them gathering cobwebs since last year. I was offered £8900 for a decked out one or £8200 if they took off those rubbish panniers and still on the 50/50 scheme. Waiting till they dip well below £8000, then I might bite.

Well had the bike a while now and been out when I can on it all I can say is FANTASTIC had the 1st service and it just seems to get better so far no backfire/stalling so fingers crossed I've not got a duff bike.

Has a great few rides out and the bike gives so much confidence in corners etc so the 10 weeks wait till my 1st tour to Belgium can't go quick enough so I can have a good 5 days away with the Veek and at the min I don't regret getting rid of the Bandit,  this bike is great and hopefully it keeps getting better.

Pleased to read your enjoying the Veek. I've got 2800 miles on mine now I just keep looking forward to riding it! When the engine gets run in it gets even better, took mine to 8K RPM for the first time whilst overtaking -- Wicked comes to mind its a mile muncher. I've found the MPG gets better too with the engine loosening off. Enjoy your trip, safe riding. :thumb:

Yes, totally agree. Straight after the first service the engine had the cough/splutter syndrome,  now after another couple hundred miles, everything's as smooth as you like and getting better. Great bike !  I've got a Fuel Exhaust on the way too, it did arrive the other day, but was damaged in the post  :crying-blue:
